“When I first started my training as a Registered Dietitian I fell into a very disordered relationship with food and my body. The first time I lost weight was by accident, but the results were overwhelming. I got so much attention and noticed when I stopped restricting I gained back the weight plus some. The control, the attention, all of it was so enticing. This rollercoaster lasted for over two decades. In my mid 40’s going through perimenopause my body gave up, I could not lose even a pound. That was when I decided to stop dieting and just eat what felt good. Over the next 10 years my weight increased but my joy and love of life also increased. It took a long time to make peace with my new body, especially after menopause. But, the peace of enjoying going out to dinner with my friends and family, going on vacations, family celebrations and no longer being obsessive about everything I ate felt amazing. Getting my certification in Intuitive Eating was one of the most amazing experiences for me both personally and professionally. Getting to work with my clients and understanding each step they are going through helps me to really help them unpack their own trauma around diet culture. I feel very lucky to be able to work with my clients and support them through each step of the process!”

Grace Bridgford
Grace Bridgford
As with most dietitians, I chose a nutrition path thinking I wanted to help people “get healthier, lose weight, and improve their exercise.” I’ve always been an active individual and a foodie, so nutrition just felt like the right major for me. However, near the end of undergrad I was feeling extremely burnt out in the dietetics space. It was always the same story – tell people to lose weight and restrict their intake. But it felt like something wasn’t sitting right with me, as if my passion for nutrition was quickly coming to an end, but I didn’t know why. Soon thereafter, I was introduced to Intuitive Eating and it finally made sense why I was feeling so burnt out. My passion had finally been reignited thanks to Intuitive Eating and I can happily say I never looked back to weight-centric care again. Intuitive Eating changed my life in so many more ways than just my relationship with food. Although I was not a frequent dieter, diet culture still had it’s ways of sinking its teeth all over my life and I could see how much it was affecting my friends and family as well. Now as a weight-inclusive dietitian, I love sharing the Intuitive Eating, Health At Every Size message with individuals to help them heal their relationship with food and body, find forms of movement that truly bring joy to their lives, and break free from the chains of diet culture.

Alex Spicer
Alex Spicer
Alex became a dietitian because she wanted to help people in their pursuit of health through nutrition. Prior to college, Alex had a pretty decent relationship with food and her body. She considered herself lucky to have not been pushed into dieting as a child.
But her relationship with food completely changed due to her experience as a Division 1 collegiate gymnast. She began developing some disordered eating habits due to the constant pressure she was under from my coaches to keep her weight “under control”. This only got worse as her very weight-centric dietetics training continued and she became obsessed with eating “healthy” and controlling her weight. When she discovered Intuitive Eating, she realized that she had some healing to do. She worked on her relationship with food using the Intuitive Eating framework and discovered just how disordered her eating habits had been. For 10 years, she had been stuck in the restrict-binge cycle. She found so much more freedom and joy once she made peace with food and her body. She is now honored to share this with the world and help others do the same! Alex is so excited to be able to use her own experience as well as her knowledge and expertise as a Registered Dietitian to provide compassionate weight-inclusive care to all.

Her mission is rooted in fostering body positivity, dismantling harmful stereotypes, and guiding clients towards a place of self-acceptance and self-care.
At a young age, Marissa grew up in a family that had many strict food rules and a narrow view on what a healthy body looked like. Marissa earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nutrition from Cal Poly University and Texas Tech University. Her academic background equipped her with the knowledge to interpret nutritional science while also understanding the impact of societal influences on health and body image. And when she learned about intuitive eating, she immediately resonated with it and knew she had chosen the right career.
In her free time, Marissa finds joy in dancing, exploring new places, and spending time with friends – activities that recharge her own well-being and keep her inspired to support others on their journeys to a healthier, happier life. Hey, I’m Sam! I’m a neurodivergent registered dietitian, cat mom, and Trader Joe’s enthusiast based in Asheville, NC. I love traveling to new places to experience new cultures, cuisines, and outdoor adventures. I specialize in helping neurodivergent individuals understand their bodies better and tune into how their brain works differently. This allows them to work with these differences instead of against them 🙂 I also specialize in binge eating disorder, ARFID, disordered eating, and hypothalamic amenorrhea!
I received my Bachelor of Science focused on Culinary Nutrition at Johnson & Wales University and then moved on to get my Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. I am so passionate about this work because I struggled with my relationship with food, body, and movement for so long during my childhood and college years.
My approach to nutrition counseling emphasizes self-compassion, body positivity, and health-promoting practices. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their bodies, regardless of shape or size, and work with clients to cultivate a positive and non-judgmental attitude towards food and their bodies. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their relationship with food and body and empower them to make decisions that align with their unique needs and values.
Now that I have healed my relationship with food, I love to cook and bake all different types of cuisine. My favorite cooking project currently is making different styles of fresh pasta from scratch. Soon I will be spending time on a food-focused trip to Mexico City, this is something she would never have been able to enjoy without the conscious decision to heal her relationship with food 🙂

Molly Hoffman
Hi, I’m Molly! I am an Intuitive Eating, non-diet, and HAES-aligned Registered Dietitian based out of Green bay, Wisconsin. I offer weight-inclusive care to those struggling with disordered eating and want to heal their relationship with food and their bodies. I am a (new) dog mom to a beautiful border collie, River, and I love to read, hike, collect a million plants, do yoga, read, and travel and eat delicious food. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters degree in Dietetics.
When I became a dietitian I knew that my ultimate passion lied in helping others with their relationship with food. As someone who saw and experienced diet culture’s work first hand and struggled with disordered eating, it has always been my mission to help others unlearn toxic diet culture beliefs around food and their bodies. When I started learning about Intuitive Eating and the non-diet space within dietetics at a conference in college, it just clicked. I absolutely adore working 1:1 with clients and watching them go from restriction to food freedom.
I spent too many years of my life obsessing, which is why I aim to help others reclaim the time back in their lives that dieting and restriction has taken.

Leah Kern
Hi! My name is Leah Kern and I’m an anti-diet dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor who specializes in helping people heal their relationships with food and body. My approach to coaching is firmly evidence-based, rooted in the Health At Every Size (HAES®) & Intuitive Eating frameworks. I believe that the work involved with unraveling years of conditioning in diet culture and learning to come home to one’s body is deeply spiritual work and I treat it as such. It is my mission to help my clients make peace with food and body so they can unlock their most expansive and fulfilling lives.
My passion for helping people break free from diet mentality stems in part from my own lived-experience. I found myself in the throes of diet culture in highschool when I got deeply entrenched in my hippie, “crunchy granola,” identity. This led me to become obsessed with eating “clean” and natural, which resulted in inevitable binge eating and shame. You can hear my full story on this podcast episode.
Some things that make my heart happy include: art journaling, hiking, cooking for loved-ones, writing, running, sitting around a fire, drifting asleep after reading in bed, and that 3-ish minute window when my tea is the perfect temperature. I’m originally from North Jersey, but I currently live in Oakland, California with my partner and our two cats, Ruth and Murray.
My unique specialties include: Binge eating & cannabis use, intuitive eating for men, trauma-informed body image work, intuitive eating & body image work for truth-seekers and spiritually-identifying folks
I spent too many years of my life obsessing, which is why I aim to help others reclaim the time back in their lives that dieting and restriction has taken.

Sara Geiger
Sara Geiger
Hello there! My name is Sara. I’m a fiercely anti-diet Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) specializing in eating disorders. I am the dietitian for you whether you’re seeking judgment-free, realistic nutrition advice, or just a good yap!
My journey as a dietitian began at the intersection of nutrition and psychology, as I chose to major in both during my undergraduate career. My commitment to ongoing education and practicing with humility ensures that I provide evidence-based, personalized care to each of my clients. I have eating disorder experience at the intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels of care. Outside of eating disorders, I geek out on PCOS, IBS, and mood disorders.
Embracing the Health at Every Size and weight-inclusive frameworks, I am dedicated to promoting well-being without promoting weight stigma. My trauma-informed approach focuses on nourishing the body, mind, and spirit, recognizing that true health encompasses a holistic understanding of an individual and their intersectional identities. It is my goal to restore trust in the healthcare provider-client relationship, ensuring that each person feels respected and supported throughout their healing process. Every session with me is an opportunity to explore if your food and exercise behaviors truly align with your core values. I understand that every individual is unique, and I tailor my interventions to address not just nutritional needs but also the emotional and psychological aspects of eating disorders.
I am passionate about educating clients on the basic nutrition skills that we are often expected to know, but never taught in school. If you’re looking for a dietitian to build nutrition self-efficacy with through exposure work, we would be a perfect fit! I enjoy helping clients with menu planning, grocery shopping, and trying new or challenging foods together. These are all things we can do together via telehealth.
While my professional life revolves around nutrition and eating disorders, I also value the importance of balance. Outside the office, you can find me baking a new recipe, enjoying live music in Charlotte, NC, hiking a trail, or reading a book with my cat, Chimichanga, by my side. I am so proud to be on the FFF team and look forward to working with you!

Hey there! I’m Mara, a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES,) and a passionate advocate for intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES). My mission? To help you build a healthy relationship with food—one that’s free from dieting, guilt, and food rules. I can help you manage your blood sugar in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.

Whether you’re managing diabetes, working to improve your eating habits, or just tired of the stress around food, I’m here to help you navigate it all with compassion, curiosity, and a whole lot of grace.
When I’m not helping clients find freedom in their eating habits, you’ll likely find me outdoors—hiking, biking, or just soaking up nature. “I started to fall outside of the “healthy” range for weight early on – ie – I grew up fat. Throughout my childhood, I endured bullying from my peers and commentary from well-meaning adults in my life. At age 10, I embarked on my first diet, kicking off 24 years of dieting. I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 15 and told that I had to lose weight and stay thin to manage it.
I lost large amounts of weight multiple times in adulthood, even getting into the “normal” BMI category once. I have lived in both a big body and a thin body, making me painfully aware of the vast difference between those two experiences.
After having my second baby in March 2020, I was finding it incredibly difficult to “get my body back.” In February of 2021, I confided in my therapist how I “just couldn’t stick to a diet” after trying for almost a year to lose the baby weight. I fully expected her to give me strategies for being better at dieting. Instead, she gently introduced me to the concepts of Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating. After that, I knew there was no going back! I know that making peace with food is the only way I can save my daughters from the guilt, shame, and self-hatred that I endured as a child.
Now, I look at pictures of myself in childhood and I see a girl who never felt comfortable in her body. She didn’t feel worthy of love or respect, because the entire world told her she couldn’t be. I joined the Find Food Freedom team because I’m passionate about spreading intuitive eating far and wide, so that other people can break free from the shackles of diet culture like I have.”

Eden Morris
Eden Morris is a Registered Dietitian (RD), Licensed Dietitian (LD), Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She is a former collegiate softball player turned mountain biker/skier who decided to become an RD after her diagnosis and experiences with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs).
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University and combined it with a Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics through the Coordinated Program at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Eden internalized so many of diet culture’s messages as a teenage girl and young woman, and she hit diet rock bottom hard at the end of her collegiate athletic career. 3 stress fractures in her left foot, osteopenia, secondary amenorrhea for 3+ years, and a wrecked relationship with her respective sport were the wakeup calls that finally snapped her out of the diet mentality. She realized she could never go on a restrictive diet again if she wanted a more peaceful relationship with food and her body, especially when she retired from competitive sport. She spent the next decade slowly internalizing Intuitive Eating principles, and now, she will tell you the best thing she has ever done for her health is heal her relationship with food. Eden aims to inspire others to recognize that a fueled body performs better than a starving body in all phases of life. She challenges everyone – in her mountain community and beyond – to not let the fear of food, fear of judgment, or fear toward anything else keep them from leading the lives they’re meant to live. If you ask Eden, the keys to becoming truly fearless are eating more food around our activities, appreciating our bodies for what they allow us to do vs how they look, and moving our bodies in ways we actually enjoy.
